Undertaking civil marriage

The requirements for holding a civil marriage at the embassy are:
1. Grooms ID
2. Passport (if any)
3. Documents used in Mozambique (DIRE or INARE document)
4. Accent of birth of the bride and groom
5. Single certificate from both
6. Declaration of the neighborhood of both
7. Rwandan I and documents from INAR or DIR of testimonies
8. Rwanda ID card and INARE documents of the witnesses 
9. Payment of 3,250 MZN     

NB: The couple must book the date 21 days before the scheduled date and must always coincide on a Friday; The bride and groom must have 1 witness and a godfather / godmother per person making a total of 4 people directly with the couple; currently due to Covid-19 restrictions,  the bride and groom can only come with 5 invitees including the camera men totaling 7 people including the bride and groom.
